An Elegant Garden with Drought Resistant Plants
By choosing plants that are somewhat drought resistant and that bloom at different times of the year, we manage to have an elegant white garden in the corner of our yard.
The miniature agapanthus is especially good at blooming continuously and not requiring water. We have a number of flowers that are the focal point, like the roses and hydrangeas. We have filled in the main flowers with herbs like cilantro and onion, which both have lacy flowers make a good companion to the roses. We are growing milkweed for the Monarch Butterflies, and these fit into the garden perfectly.
