Welcome to Tony Fitzgerald Photography, where every recipe is built from the heart — and a few master recipes that make everything simpler, smarter, and more sustainable. Created by Lisa LeCoump, a food photographer and agricultural expert, this blog blends decades of real-world experience in the field and the kitchen. Each post celebrates premium ingredients (yes, we name the brands), chef-inspired tips, and easy methods that make baking fun, foolproof, and better for the planet.

While traveling the world and looking for the best quality ingredients, we found that many producers who care about quality also care about sustainability. When we used the best quality ingredients we also reduced our carbon footprint. Additionally, by buying regenerative products, we could actually help reverse climate change. So, this blog features some of those products. If everyone did this, it would have a big effect on climate change. Little changes add up to something big.

Tony Fitzgerald is a professional photographer living in Santa Cruz, California, owner of Tony Fitzgerald Photography. He spent ten years photographing weddings, and his photographs have been frequently published in blogs and magazines.

Previously, Tony was the Stroke Coordinator for Good Samaritan Hospital, in the heart of Silicon Valley, and was instrumental in Good Samaritan Hospital becoming certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by The Joint Commission and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. Tony is a Registered Nurse, certified as a Critical Care Nurse and attended college at the University of Colorado.

Professional Photographer - Food Photographer, Wedding Photographer. Lisa was previously the Deputy Agricultural Commissioner, responsible for reviewing and enforcing organic regulations and Environmental Protection Agency pesticide use regulations. She also worked for years as an Agricultural Advisor in California, a farmer in California, and an Agricultural Extension Agent in Thailand. She received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from California State University, Chico and studied Integrated Pest Management at U.C., Davis, which involved farming methods that preserve the environment.
