Fairytale wedding in Los Gatos | Nestldown
Janine and David met at a reunion a few years ago, and it was clear that they were meant to be together. They were wed at the lovely Nestldown wedding venue in Los Gatos on a beautiful July day. Both Janine and David love the redwoods and there was a redwood theme weaving it’s way through the wedding. The programs were DIY graphic on brown paper and miniature photos and wooden clothes pins. The guests signed a large wooden plank and received a parting gift in handcrafted wooden boxes. After the ceremony in the outdoor natural redwood “chapel” in front of the lake, the miniature train delivered the couple to the cocktail hour in the foxglove meadow. They had an area for playing bocci and a decorated stand with a blackboard for taking photos and writing well wishes for the couple. Photos were taken by the lake and in the redwood grove and in front of the fairytale cottage. Coming from an Italian family, Janine made special Italian cookies for the occasion. Farm tables were brought in to make the wedding a large family affair, and decorated with roses garlands and olive swags.
