On a sunny day in June, Venus and David were married at the Chaminade Resort in Santa Cruz. The bride is a pilot, so there was a plane theme woven throughout the champagne and dusty rose florals at the reception. The bride and groom had been friends since they were children, so photos of them decorated the ceremony chairs and the reception hall. The bride’s relatives designed the decorations for the formal cake, and the cakes were topped with photo characters of the bride and groom as children. We love weddings at the Chaminade! It’s a lovely location, so it makes the wedding photos that much better, and it’s hard to beat that view. So we were really happy to learn that they featured one of our photos on the wedding page of the Chaminade website. The rose arbor is part of the Chaminade, and the fountain was decorated by Eventscape for the wedding.
The Chaminade is one of the most popular wedding venues in Santa Cruz, and it is easy to see why – the gorgeous sweeping view of the town and the ocean is breathtaking. The rose covered arbor framing the view makes a picture perfect wedding.
