Planting Flowers for Honey bees

We are planting flowers for honey bees. They need both nectar and pollen, so we have planted a variety of flowers.

So, this year we we have been researching which flowers they need and are providing some of their favorites.

Populations are on the decline, and it helps to plant flowers that provide food for them.

Fortunately, they like some of the same flowers we planted for butterflies and the herbs we grow, and the edible flowers we grow for ourselves.
